Basic Obedience

Do you want a dog that listens to you, and doesn't pull you down the street during a walk?

Laying a foundation is about understanding the training basics, which will help us to set the groundwork towards establishing a training program for both you and the dog. We will go over basic commands like sit, down, heel, wait, come and place. Everything will be trained on leash.

 

We will discuss luring, markers, appropriate corrections, the importance of timing and good communication techniques with your dog.  This program focuses on establishing control and reliability in a public setting around light distractions.

This basic obedience training program is offered as individual private sessions (where we guide you through the training process and you apply everything yourself at home), or via our Basic Obedience Board and Train package where we do all the training for you.
